When I look up on your face, the world darkens.
When I hear you speak, music fades.
When I walk beside you, reality stills.
When I look into your eyes, time stops.

How I long to know the moisture of your lips on mine,
The silkiness of your hair through my fingers,
The texture of your skin under my hand,
The contour of your body as we create a world
Science with all its dimensions cannot unravel.

How I long to tell you what is on my heart.

Yet every time I step forth from the shadow of our friendship,
There comes a mocking voice,
An accusing question,
An ice blade with acid edge:
What rights can the l
As the worlds moved on.Under blue sky,
Birds flying,
 Clouds racing,
Wind blowing,
  Tearing,
Pulling,
  Pushing,
 Howling,
  Rain falling,
Splattering.

I sat unmoving
As the worlds moved on.

 On iron core burning
  Turning,
Grating,
 Shaking.
 On great plates of Earth
   Sliding,
 Sinking,
  Heating,
Quivering.
 On wet soil with insect and worms,
Tunneling,
  Crawling,
 Hiding,
Mating.
 On grass growing,
Dying,
  Flowering,
 Seeding.

I sat unmoving
As the worlds moved on.

Seasons changing,
  Planets rotating,
   Revolving,
 Stars burning,
   Dying,
Exploding.
  Galaxies spinning,
  Travellin
